Refresher class for Love & Logic...

Hello Love and Logic Parents, Grandparents, and Teachers,

The once-a-year Love and Logic Refresher Class will be offered Aug. 6th and Aug. 7th this year. As requested by previous participants, one class will be geared for children ages Preschool - 5th grade, and one class will be geared for the 5th graders - Teens. Each class will be 2 1/2 hours.

Note: The deadline to register & pay (so I can get the materials for you) is July 30th; the deadline to register for the class is August 3rd.

The plan is for a review of the 9 L&L strategies, and lots of discussion on the use of the strategies, as well as sharing and problem solving. I have L&L video clips for discussion and viewing as well. The video clips will relate to the age the class is geared toward. As always there is the opportunity to choose a Love and Logic book or CD. Because I have to order these from Colorado ahead of time, I'll need your registration and book or CD choice as soon as possible.

The cost for the class is $15 per family. That includes the class, the coffee and snacks, and the book or CD.(and me!)

This is the only refresher class for 2007. It is provided by a grant from the San Juan Island Prevention Coalition in partnership with St. David's Church (use of facility and copy materials), and the participant fee.

Refresher Class #1

What: Preschool - Elementary School age group Love and Logic Refresher Class
When: Monday - August 6, 2007 6 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Where: St. David's Office Building on Park Street
Who: Past participants of any Love and Logic class, or people with a working knowledge of Love and Logic. Call Nan is you need more information here.
Cost: $15 per family or individual

No child care available at this time. Any ideas?

Refresher Class #2

What: Upper Elementary Children to Teens Age Group Love and Logic Refresher Class
When: Tuesday - August 7th, 2007 6 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Where: St. David's Office Building on Park Street
Who: past participants of any Love and Logic class, or people with a working knowledge of Love and Logic. Call Nan is you need more information.
Cost: $15.00 per family or individual

Material Choice: Choose one of the following:
Books: Parenting With Love and Logic
or Parenting Teens With Love and Logic
or CD: Love and Logic Parenting Stories by Jim Fay

Please reply by email to order your choice of material and send your intent to attend. (name(s) of attending folks) I will collect the $15 at the class. If you email me your choice of material and indicate you are attending, I will expect payment even if you do not attend, as I will have the materials in hand and I will have paid for them already!! Ok? Of course you can always send me the $15 in the mail with your intent to attend.
